The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History preserves and interprets more than 200 years of American whiskey, dating from before the Colonial era to the decades following Prohibition. Exhibits cover historical figures like Abraham Lincoln and display rare artifacts like a moonshine still, medicinal whiskey bottles, vintage advertisements, and antique whiskey receptacles; actual antique liquor is for sale at the museum's store. The museum lies downtown, next to St. Joseph's Proto-Cathedral.
